Our Mission

Municipal Agriculture Office is responsible in the formulation of farm family development plans including Rice, High Value Crops, Livestock and Fisheries. Supervised the dissemination of agricultural and fisheries information through farm and home visits, field demonstration, trainings farm field school, meeting and conferences. Promote, organize and maintain farmers and fisherfolks association federation and councils as well as rural based organization of women farmers and youth. Coordinate with the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Unit and attached agencies in the implementation of agricultural and fishery programs/projects in accordance with the basic needs, potentials and resources of the municipality covered. Evaluates, consolidates and submit monthly or periodic accomplishment reports and perform such other functions as may requires. And disseminate agricultural technology innovations to farmers insuring the increase agricultural productivity through cost reduction.
