Detailed Information
The Clarendon Cultural Center is Located in Brgy. Odiong, Roxas, Oriental Mindoro. It was a grant from IDIG together with the opening of the BCAED Course at Clarendon College.
The Cultural Centered opened last 2018, this is to promote the rich culture of Roxas and also the culture we have at Oriental Mindoro, dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich traditions of the Mangyan communities and local culture of Mindoro. The center showcases indigenous heritage through traditional clothing, handcrafted tools, weaving practices, culinary traditions, music, dance, and oral literature. It also features locally made artworks and crafts, highlighted the creativity and talent of local artists and artisan. More than a cultural space, the center serves as a place for learning, appreciation, and inspiration—connecting visitors to the island's deep-rooted history, artistic expressions, and cultural identity.
